Our Love Story

It all started at a braai in 2019, when Dan first spotted Jaymee (although she has absolutely no recollection of this)! Little did either of them know that this chance encounter would be the beginning of their forever story.

Fast forward to 2023, when Dan moved back to Welkom and conveniently slid into Jaymee's DMs looking for "accommodation"— despite one of his best mates already living in Welkom. Whether he was actually looking for a place to stay or just an excuse to get her attention is still up for debate.

After three months of "searching for accommodation," Dan finally arrived in Welkom, and from that very day, the two were inseparable, spending every chance they got together.

Through the ups and downs, the ins and outs, plenty of laughter, and a few adventures along the way, their friendship grew into something much more.

Although they officially started dating sometime in September 2024 (despite having already lived together for a few months back in 2023), everyone knew this love story had been writing itself long before then.

Then, on 22 December 2025, Dan got down on one knee and asked the easiest question he would ever ask. She said yes, and the rest, as they say, is history.
